The Applied Technology Initiative (ATI) seeks to understand the ongoing related needs of Central Minnesota nonprofits and to develop collaborative solutions to address them.

ATI PROGRAMS

EQUIPMENT TRACKER - Equipment Tracker is a source for obtaining or submitting used technology equipment.

ATI RESOURCES - Provides information and websites of organizations that are willing to work with Central Minnesota nonprofit organizations. Sub-topics include: Nonprofit Assistance, Hardware, Recycling, Software, and Training.

TECH TALK - A listserve for questions and answers to tech questions for nonprofits.  To subscribe, send an email to subscribe@communitygiving.org. To be removed from TechTalk send an email to unsubscribe@communitygiving.org. There doesn't need to be anything in the Subject or Body of the email.  TechTalk also provides a free bi-weekly e-newsletter, ATI E-News Bytes , which provides important information for area nonprofits.

EDUCATIONAL EVENTS – A series of technology education and strategic planning events for nonprofit tech leaders and users. Check back to see current ATI Events.

INTERNS/SERVICE LEARNING - Provides a pool of volunteer service learning students from local technology classes to local nonprofits. Look for service learning opportunities posted through United Way.

TECH MENTOR - Want to become an ATI mentor or are you looking for a mentor? Tech Mentors provides volunteer business technology mentors to local nonprofit organizations. See the contact information at the bottom of the page for more information.

PURCHASING POOL - Provides a discount for local nonprofits on technology purchases from local technology providers.  See the Purchasing Pool for businesses offering discounts.

TECHNOLOGY BANK - Provides technology consulting and service hours at a discounted price to local nonprofits.  Please participate if you would like to purchase hours from the ATI Technology Bank or would like to find out more about providing discounted technology services to the ATI Technology Bank.
