They recycle printer cartridges and also handle a fund-raising program for nonprofit organizations that desire to collect used printer cartridges. An excellent place for nonprofits to purchase copiers and printers at greatly reduced prices. Copiers Refurbished is a reseller of nationally leased technology equipment (copiers, computers, etc.) and is located in Long Prairie, Minnesota.
The Minnesota Computers for Schools/Nonprofits works with local nonprofits to conduct technology pickups. They prefer technology equipment in serviceable condition so they can rebuild and use all components for recycling. Certification is given to donors that all parts were recycled and not dumped in landfills. Standard charge is $8.00 per computer and monitor. Transportation charges apply for larger pick-ups. They also sell rebuilt computers, monitors, servers and other technology equipment to schools and nonprofits.

The Minnesota Office of Environmental Assistance encourages residents to take advantage of the growing number of recycling options for household technology — some are free, while some charge a fee. Look around to find the best deal available. Waste electronic and electrical products from households are not regulated or banned from disposal in Minnesota. However, household electronics should be managed responsibly even in small quantities.
United Cerebral Palsy of Central Minnesota has developed its current technology recycling program. They have coordinated with Tri County Waste Management in the past and hold their Computer Drop-Off events twice per year. They rely on volunteers to repair used computers and adapt them for children with disabilities. For more info call 320.253.0765.
